Man Indicted on Aggravated Assault Charge in Hazlet

A Monmouth County grand jury handed up the indictment this week.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Howell man on aggravated assault charge.  Investigators say Louis Pulice, 27, assaulted victim with a knife in Hazlet Township on Nov. 16, 2012.  Pulice was indicted on two charges, including third degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Both are third degree crimes.  An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that a grand jury voted there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.
