The candidates seeking office in the Tuesday, Nov. 6 election.
If you normally vote at Raritan High School (Districts 7 & 17), your polling location has been moved to Hazlet's Town Hall, 1766 Union Ave. (in Veteran's Memorial Park). All other polling places we be in operation as usual, according to information posted on the Hazlet Township Facebook page.
In Holmdel, six candidates will vie for three spots. In Hazlet, four are running for three seats.
Holmdel Township residents will choose from a six candidates to fill three open seats on the Holmdel Board of Education in November. In Hazlet, residents will choose from four candidates for three open spots on the Hazlet Board of Education. Prospective candidates had until Tuesday to submit petitions with ten or more signatures for the the board of education election. All the open seats are for a three year term. Here are the candidates who are running for seats on the nine-member boards, in the order provided to Holmdel-Hazlet Patch by the Monmouth County Election Dept. Incumbents are indicated by (I). The only incumbent who has chosen not to run again is Holmdel's Rai Tai.

Since the elected township government has the ultimate say with respect to taxation, I would like to see a closer working relationship between the Holmdel TC and the BOE. I would like to see an ongoing review of the fees and charges that are levied by the BOE professionals.   more ›
