I volunteer at this daycare center. The staff and I doing everything possible to teach and expose the kids to their fullest, we teach those sign language and Spanish. We have school lunches, for moms in a pinch, we also have trips which only the pre-k and up can attend. For the younger ones we have pony rides magic shows, face painting, etc. These activities change depending on our monthly theme. During the summer months, we also have water play.

My daughter started being cared for by Ms. Tonie since she was 4 months old and we couldn't have picked a better place for her. We looked at 6 daycares in the area and found the Growing Tree to have the best caregiver/setting/curriculum for her. A lot of the daycares were over crowded and did not have a curriculum that supported growth for the children...a lot of them used TVs. Working in the field of health and safety, I was very particular about knowledge of safety by the staff, cleanliness, etc. and found the school to be on top of their requirements and beyond. Ms. Tonie has a lot of years of experience with babies. She puts a lot of love and value into her job and it shows on the happy babies in her room. Like a lot of parents, you feel very unsure/scared about leaving your baby to other people after being so close to them during months of maternity leave, but within the week of having my daughter in the care of Growing Tree, I felt more confident about my decision and she was very happy to be in daycare. It was all thanks to the support of the staff at Growing Tree!
