Never again. First of all, whoever allows the bread contained in the bread basket to be allowed anywhere near a customer, should be fired immediately. Little did I know the bread would be the best part of the meal. If you're looking for 'atmosphere', eat someplace else. Of course if juggling is your profession, then this is the restaurant for you.
Seated at a table for 2 really was quite the juggling act. As our appetizer (we ordered the dinner portion of Goncchi) was set on the table -I knew things would only get worse. A large shallow bowl plate placed in the middle of the table & then the waitress walked away. Plates apparently are discouraged. After flagging her down we received small plates & the bread basket.
Stale bread, my chicken francaise must have been half a breast pounded like tissue paper swimming in sauce. We were left holding our silverware, cocktails, the basket, & water glasses while trying to shimmy candles, condiments & our appetizer out of the way. I didn't know if I'd be able to eat while holding all that stuff. To sop up some of the sauce I asked for another basket of bread. It was worse than the first as this one was burned. We declined dessert & coffee, paid our bill & left, never to return.
Luckily there are much better places to go than this restaurant.
