Provident Bank stiffed me of $13,600 by losing a check for several weeks. I had to go back to the originating party (a corporation), have a stop payment placed, and have a new check issued. Overall, this whole process took over six weeks. The bank was not helpful at all, and never followed-up with me during the whole process. I had to call them several times to find out if they found the check. I am moving my business account and all personal accounts from this bank.
