I got a very generous gift certificate for my mom's birthday. My mom went the 1st time for a "European facial" which she has had for years at other places with no problems. She had a horrible experience at Ginger's in Holmdel! Her face was left marked up & in pain for 2 months. The girl doing the facial was in & out of the room for long periods of time & unexperienced. She didn 't even offer a hand massage while my mom's masks were on her face, which is customary of every European facial. My mother was so upset with the experience that she vowed to never go back. Unfortunately, I convinced her to go back since there was so much money left on her gift certificate. I suggested she go back for something not associated with her face, like a pedicure & manicure. She decided to give them another shot & went back. The girl doing her nails was getting her own hair colored during my mom's pedicure! She was running between my mom and her own hair coloring the whole time! As if it wasn't bad enough that my mom's nail tech had my mother wait in the middle of her pedicure so she could wash the color out of her own hair, the girl did not even provide a satisfactory pedi or mani! NEVER AGAIN! Unheard of!

Gingers' salon and day spa ia my home away from home. I love to treat myself atleast once a month. The staff is so nice and helpful and salon is always so clean! I have been going there for years and tell my family and friends to buy me gift certificates for my birthday and holidays.
