Donate to Oklahoma Tornado Victims Through RAINE Foundation

The Hazlet-based charity is collect gift cards, checks and online donations for the relief efforts in Oklahoma, as well as ongoing efforts after a plant explosion in Texas.

The RAINE Foundation is collecting gift cards at two local businesses to help in the recovery efforts in Oklahoma after a 2-mile wide Tornado devastated the area.

Visa, Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart gift cards can be brought to IHOP of Keport, owned by Cliff Moore, and Perkins of Hazlet, owned by Ted Kozcon and Mike Marshall. 

According to RAINE President Mike Fabozzi, volunteers are finishing up efforts in West, Texas where a fertilizer plant exploded on April 17, before heading to Oklahoma.

"They will be making their way up to Oklahoma by the end of the week to contribute there," he said in an email Tuesday.

Donations can also be made online through the RAINE Foundation at www.rainefoundation.com. Donors are asked to type "Oklahoma and Texas Relief" in the comment section to earmark it for those efforts.
