Wednesday Victories For Both Holmdel Varsity Soccer Teams vs. Monmouth Regional
Wednesday wins for Holmdel Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer teams against Monmouth Regional.
Coach John Nacarlo's boys cruised to their third win of the season with a 4-0 defeat of Monmouth Regional. Jason Kyriacou, junior midfielder, led the team with two goals.
Senior forward Zach Bond scored off a penalty kick and sophmore Gino D'Agostino locked up the win with his goal. Senior goalkeeper Mitch Walier combined with Josh Parasar for shutout number 3. The boys' next game is away against RBC at 4 pm this Friday September 14th at Dorbrook Park.
The Holmdel Varsity Girls beat Monmouth Regional 2-0 today. Junior midfielder Alexa Limbach scored the first goal of the game. Freshman forward Hannah Lee scored her second goal of the season late in the second half to secure the game for the Hornets.

Another outstanding effort by sophmore keeper Helen Burleigh who picked up her second shutout of the season with a few big saves in the second half. Coach Jennifer Conroy says "the team is off to its best start in three years." The girls have a big home game this Friday against Red Bank Catholic (3-0) at 6:30 p.m. on Roggy field.
