Holmdel Boys Win, and Girls Tie, At Saint John Vianney

Ranked Number 1 in the Shore Varsity Boys Win Again; Girls Tie.

Yes, this is our town.  At least in soccer.  

Holmdel High School Varsity boys soccer beat cross-town rival SJV 3-0.  

The Hornets, ranked number 1 in the Shore Conference and 12th in the entire state maintain their perfect record, now 5-0.

Their opponents are scoreless against them.  

Senior Zach Bond had 2 goals and sophomore Gino D'Agostino, one, in the win.

Credit Mitch Walier with his fifth shutout of the year.  

Their next game in away against Shore Regional on Monday September 24th at 4 pm.   _____________

The girls played SJV to a 2-2 tie after a double overtime at Roggy field.  

Junior forward Jessica Moscal scored both goals for Holmdel.  

The girls record is now 3-1-1 in their conference and 3-2-1 overall.  

The girls play again Saturday at home against Shore Regional at 12 noon.
