Holmdel Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer Both Win Over Rumson Fair Haven

Both boys and girls Holmdel Varsity Soccer are off to a great start!

The Holmdel Boys Varsity Soccer recorded their second win of the season with a 1-0 victory over RFH today at Rumson. The sole goal was scored by sophomore, Eric D'Aleo. This is the second shut out of the season for senior goalkeeper, Mitch Walier. The first win was the season home opener, which they won 4-0 against Raritan. The boys next play at home Wednesday, September 12 aganist Monmouth Regional at 5:30. 

The Holmdel Girls Varsity also had their second win of the season today with a 2-0 win against RFH. Goals were scored by junior forward, Jessica Moskal and sophomore midfielder, Danielle Pantaleone. Sophomore goalkeeper, Helen Burleigh had her first shut out of the season. The girls have 2 wins and 1 loss, having also defeated Raritan 3-1 in their season opener. The girls next game is Wednesday at Monmouth Regional High School at 3:45.
