In a TV interview, Notre Dame cornerback Bennett Jackson of Hazlet recalls his early years in the HYAL Pop Warner league, playing for the Hazlet Hawks.
"I played running back in Pop Warner," Jackson told WSBT. "Yeah, I was always the guy to get fired up and try to get the guys fired up around me."
Jackson's "emotional" style, adaptability and maturity has set him apart in his first season as a starter. He already has three interceptions, sports anchor David McCoy reported.
