T'ai Chi Chih: Joy thru Movement

This gentle moving meditation, which increases energy while calming the mind, is appropriate for seniors as it was recently highlighted in AARP Magazine:  http://www.aarp.org/health/fitness/info-09-2010/tai_chi_chih.html   This form has been adopted for research studies by UCLA and it has already been shown to increase immunity levels in seniors with a propensity to Shingles as well as reducing insomnia.  A recent study indicates that T’ai Chi may help symptoms of Fibromyalgia.  Past studies indicate that sufferers of arthritis and Parkinson’s may find T’ai Chi beneficial as well.  Participants of this class will also learn other techniques on how to tap into their body’s natural healing ability.
