'A Night of Hoops' Planned for Thursday's Big Basketball Game
Organizers want to rally a crowd to support the student athletes in the Holmdel vs. Rumson-Fair Haven game Thursday night at Holmdel High.
"A Night of Hoops," featuring the Holmdel High School boys basketball team vs. Rumson-Fair Haven in a division playoff, will be held on Thursday at 6:15 pm at the Holmdel High School main gym.
The Hornets are enjoying a successful season so far. Their record is 12-2.
Admission is free, and there will be free t-shirts for the first 100 students and special prizes. At halftime, some very successful Holmdel teams from the fall season will be honored.

The event is sponsored by the My Three Sons Foundation and the Holmdel High School Athletic Department. The foundation will make a donation to Holmdel High School Project Graduation and all proceeds from the 50/50 will go to the Class of 2012.
Organizers are hoping to generate school spirit and support for the student athletes. They ask you "spread the word."
