HFEE and Holmdel Schools Continue a Proud Partnership of Success

The HFEE is proud that the World Language Lab is thriving at Holmdel High School, and hopes to drum up support for their latest initiative to enrich the visual and performing arts.

Ever since its inception at Holmdel High School in 2010, the World Language Lab at Holmdel High School has made great strides in enhancing language instruction at the high school and middle school levels. Sponsored by the Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence (HFEE) and funded by the generous support of all those in our community, the lab has provided enriched levels of instruction at all levels of the language curriculum.

Jennifer Cibelli, one of the high school World Language teachers, feels that the availability of the lab opens up new windows of opportunities for students and teachers alike. Having experienced the advantages of the lab while a student at Rutgers, Cibelli feels that the self-paced, individualized, multi-sensory approach has really benefitted many of the students she has encountered in the language courses.

The lab sees quite a bit of use as all of the middle and high school language teachers utilize the technology on a rotating basis, ensuring an enriching experience for all their students. The HFEE is delighted to know that the schools are getting their money’s worth and are striving to achieve their goal of “educational excellence”.

Just as the lab has enhanced instruction in the World Language disciplines, so does the Foundation’s current gift initiative seek to enhance the visual and performing arts in the district. The PAC 21st Century Stage Enhancements Fund Drive is seeking donations to support the district once again by providing much-needed stage lighting for our high school Performing Arts Center (PAC). Please see the attached flyer or visit our website at PAC 21st Century Stage Enhancements Fund Drive to make a donation.

The Foundation would like to thank you for your continued support in all our endeavors to maintain the level of excellence that the Holmdel school system is known for.
