Two Holmdel Students Win Congressional Award

Hari Ravichandran, Holmdel, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Sahaj Viradia, Holmdel, University of Miami, along with fourteen other students from across New Jersey, will receive the Congressional Award Gold Medal on June 19th.

The Congressional Gold Medal is Congress' highest award for youth ages 14 to 23. The Medal recognizes individuals that have committed hundreds of hours to community involvement. 

The award ceremonies next week will be hosted by CBS News' Nancy Cordes and Chip Reid. Kate Raftery of the Peace Corps will be the keynote speaker at the event.
