Tuesday: Assistive Technologies Workshop at Holmdel High

Sponsored by ARISE, with cooperation of the Holmdel Township Public Schools Department of Special Services.

The public is invited to a workshop on assistive technology for children with special needs. The event is Tuesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. in the Holmdel High School, Upper Library Conference Area.

The event is sponsored by ARISE (Advocating Rights in Special Education), in cooperation with the Holmdel Township Public Schools Department of Special Services. Parents, educators, and community members are invited.

This workshop is intended to help parents learn more about assistive technology and how it can help enhance the educational experience of your children at any grade level.  The presenter will be Mike Marotta, Assistive Technology Consultant for the school district.

ARISE serves as the support group for the families of children with special needs in the Holmdel Township Public Schools District.  Its goal is to help parents improve the quality of their children's education through parent training and working collaboratively with the school district to raise and discuss pressing issues of concern.
