The Board of Education appointed Michael Ferrarese to the position of Assistant Principal, Indian Hill School, effective January 3, 2012.
Ferrarese will work alongside the school's new Principal, Tali Axelrod, who began this school year. He will be paid $86,000 (prorated).
The position was last filled by Donato Sapanaro, who resigned.

According to Axelrod, Ferrarese has taught high school and middle school social studies since 2001, both in New York and New Jersey. Currently he is an 8th grade teacher in East Brunswick. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and has his masters from Hofstra University.
He will join the Holmdel School district when his contract expires, or sooner, if possible, he said.
