STORM UPDATES: Poole Avenue Area Power Restored in Hazlet
New Jersey braces for up to 24 hours of precipitation.
Update, 12:21 p.m.: Power has been restored in the Poole Avenue area, according to the Hazlet Township Police Department Facebook page.
The outages occurred because of downed wires in Union Beach, police said.

All Holmdel and Hazlet public schools will be closed on Thursday because of the inclement weather.
