Grab the Scissors -- Village School Wants Your 'Box Tops' Labels

Here's a way to contribute to Holmdel schools by just hunting around the cupboard.

So far this year, Village School students have turned in 20,000 Box Tops, in their quest to bust last year's incredible record of 24,000. Each little pink Box Top in the Box Tops for Education Program can be cashed in for a dime.

Last year's haul brought in $2,400. The Village School PSA used that money to enhance learning experiences at their school.

Now the heat is on to bring in the most Box Tops by February 16, when a class at each grade level will be declared the winner of a Popsicle Pajama party.

Box Tops can be found on Kleenex tissue boxes, General Mills cereal boxes, Ziploc boxes, Pillsbury labels and more. (See a list here.)  You can send them in to Village School with your kids, with a neighborhood child, or email the parent group at PSABoxTops@live.com. An official collection sheet is attached to this article.

Other schools are collecting Box Tops too! Check with your the parent group to learn more. Links can be found on the Holmdel Schools website.
