Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Join and support the Temple Shalom of Aberdeen's team in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in October 21st.

On Sunday, October 21st Temple Shalom Walkers, organized by Temple Shalom of Aberdeen's Sisterhood, will be joining a “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk-a-Thon.

The team welcomes women, men and children to walk with them to raise funds to help save lives from breast cancer.  Team members will ask friends and family to support their efforts with a donation.

The 5K walk begins at 10:00 am at the Arnold Avenue Band Shell in Point Pleasant Beach preceded by an opening ceremony at 9:00 am and a 9:40 am warm-up. Team members may choose to walk the full 5K or shorter distances.  Participants walk at their own pace in a noncompetitive setting.
