Creating Enthusiastic Learners in Preschool and at Home

Developmentally appropriate environments and learning through play for preschoolers.

Parents, teachers and early childhood education professionals are invited to attend the program, "Creating Enthusiastic Learners in Preschool and at Home".  The presenter is Cindy Terebush, Director of Schools at Temple Shalom of Aberdeen.  The program will take place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 18th at the Marlboro Jewish Center, 103 School Road West in Marlboro.  It is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County. Learn about what a developmentally appropriate environment looks like and how children learn best.  Discover how you can create an age appropriate environment that fosters independent, critical thinkers.

Cindy Terebush has spent 15 years working in the field of education.  Cindy is a Professional Impact New Jersey Approved Associate Instructor of Adults and author of popular blog “Best Practice in Education - Early Childhood and Beyond” (http://www.cindyterebush.blogspot.com/).  Articles from her blog appear in “The Patch” throughout Monmouth and Middlesex counties.  This year she will be the keynote speaker at the New Jersey Division for Early Childhood Annual Conference at Kean University and a presenter at the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children in Atlantic City.
