Townships, Schools Closing. What Else is Closing?

With the latest winter storm threatening to dump a foot or more of snow on the area, local townships and schools are shutting down for today and the evening and are urging residents to be careful.

Holmdel and Hazlet are urging drivers to remove their cars off the roads to make way for snowplows.

In Holmdel, township offices will close at 1:30 p.m. The Township Committee has rescheduled Tuesday’s meeting to Thursday, Jan. 23. Executive Session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the Open Session will begin at 6:30 p.m. In addition, the township has canceled court for Wednesday, Jan. 22.
