A Primary Election will be held today, June 7, for the nomination of candidates of each of the major political parties for the Nov. 8 General Election.
The municipal offices to be filled in 2011 are two 3-year term Township Committee seats.
Holmdel Republicans Patrick Impreveduto and Rocco Pascucci are seeking re-election of their Township Committee seats. They are running uncontested.

Holmdel Democrats have not officially put forward candidates for the primary.
At the county level, the following positions are open: one State Senate (11th, 12th, 13th & 30th State Leg Districts), 2 General Assembly (11th, 12th, 13th & 30th State Leg Districts), 1 Surrogate and 2 Members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders

Polls are open between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

- District 5 votes at the Village School located on McCampbell Road
- District 6 votes at the Satz School located on Crawfords Corner Road
- District 7 votes at the Satz School located on Crawfords Corner Road
