Poison Ivy-Eating Goats Furloughed in Government Shutdown

The goats were brought to Sandy Hook to clear ivy.

Humans aren't the only ones impacted by the government shutdown.

The 28 goats hired by Gateway National Recreation Area to eat poison ivy at Sandy Hook have been sent home Friday ahead of the shutdown, according to USA Today.

The goats had been brought to the site in July.
