Alcatel-Lucent (ALU-NYSE) lost 18% of it's value today. ALU is slowly dying. Similar to a hot dog restaurant in a town that is losing all of it's population. Even by selling off one of it's divisions, Genesys, gross margins dropped to 30%, the lowest since the merger 6 years ago. There is a very real possibility of bankruptcy in this picture. It should be taken into account. The French government is in no position to bail out Alcatel either. Nuff said.
