Impreveduto Named Holmdel Mayor, Hinds Deputy Mayor

Joseph Ponisi and Eric Hinds were sworn in to serve three-year terms during Monday's Holmdel reorganization meeting.

Holmdel Mayor Patrick Impreveduto and Deputy Mayor Eric Hinds were “re-elected” on Monday by the Township Committee to continue in those roles for 2014.

Holmdel Township held its annual reorganization meeting Monday, during which Joseph Ponisi and Hinds were sworn in to serve three-year terms. Hinds and Ponisi were re-elected in November.

After the swearing in, the Township Committee selected Impreveduto to serve as mayor and Hinds to serve as Deputy Mayor. On hand for the ceremony were Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry, Deputy Directory Gary J. Rich Sr. and Freeholder Thomas A. Arnone.

The Township Committee also approved resolutions filling various board and committees.

William Laid was appointed as Added Assessment Inspector.

Jim Allocco, George Callan, Marge Callan, Denise Mautone and John Flemer were appointed as members of the Agricultural Advisory Committee.

The Township Administrator and Committeeman Eric Hinds were appointed liaisons to the Board of Education.

Township Administrator, Chief of Police and the Construction Official are appointed Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator .

Barbara Hilliard, Coordinator, Stephanie Zielaznicki, Sherry Katz and Ruth Patras were appointed members of the Holmdel Drug and Alcohol Alliance.

Mary Casey was appointed Municipal Court Judge

Denise Fritz was appointed Municipal Housing Liaison

Township Committeeman Gregory Buontempo was appointed as a Class III member of the Planning Board.

The Mayor or his designee was appointed as a Class I Planning Board member.

Loni Lucina was appointed as Storm water Program Coordinator.
