Holmdel Seeks Requests to Buy Liquor License

The township is looking to sell a Retail Consumption liquor license to a full-service restaurant.

Holmdel Township is taking requests to purchase a liquor license for a full-service restaurant.

The Holmdel Township Committee has proposed to issue a new Plenary Retail Consumption liquor license and will issue a license with the following non-exclusive criteria:

  • Location of proposed license within a designated Redevelopment Area of more than 10 acres.
  • Type of business to be licensed – full service restaurant(s).
  • Compatibility of use with uses in area.
  •  Type of structure to be licensed.

All applications must be complete, must comply fully with all requirements of N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 2-2.1 et seq., and must be filed no later than 4 p.m. Jan. 16.

A public hearing on any/all applications shall be held on Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Holmdel Township Municipal Building, 4 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, New Jersey.  The Township Committee reserves the right to reject all applications.
