Holmdel Eyes New Township Web Site

The Township Committee accepted a bid last week to redesign its web site.

The Holmdel Township Committee approved a bid to begin redesigning it’s township website.

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, the committee accepted a bid from Civic Plus for web design services for the township website. The bid came in at $25,526, higher then two other bids, but was accepted for several reasons, including a lack of municipal experience on the part of other bidders.

According to last week’s agenda, the township received bids from three vendors, the lowest at $9,375 from TNTMAX, and one for $24,840, from BCS. During the course of the interview process and a review of the proposals, the base pricing by TNTMAX and BCS did not include all of the requirements needed by the township. In addition, both lacked municipal experience and one vendor had no municipal experience, according to the agenda.
