DiMaso was elected as a committeewoman in 2001, and served Holmdel as Mayor from 2006 to 2010. She also served on the Holmdel Planning Board.
"The township employees will miss her delightful desserts and Thanksgiving dinners," Impreveduto said in the official proclamation. "Serena's kindness and generous nature endeared her to residents and employees alike."
Fink, a 12-year veteran of the governing body, former mayor, and the former sole Democrat on the five-member governing body decided not to run for another term last November.
Fink began serving Holmdel Township through the Environmental Commission in 1990 and was elected to the Township Committee in 2000. Fink served as Mayor from 2003 to 2005.
Fink was honored for his years of service in Holmdel Township, as he now uses time for passions such as scouting and land preservation, including Cross Farm.
"The township of Holmdel recognizes and appreciates the efforts and dedication of Larry and his significant contributions to preserve the rural beauty of our town," Impreveduto said.
