Holmdel Brush Pick-up: A Public Safety Reminder

Shade Tree Committee Chair Jenni Blumenthal reminds homeowners to trim excessive plant growth to improve traffic visibility.

Holmdel Township brush collection started on August 1 and will continue through the 26th.

Residents should remember that all property owners and tenants shall keep all brush, hedges, and any other plant life growing within 10 feet of any roadway and 25 feet of any intersection of two roadways, cut to a height no more than of two and one-half feet, as has been determined to be necessary for the preservation of public safety.

Now is the time to check that these plants are at the correct height so that the clippings can be taken away.

For specific information about the do's and don't's of brush collection visit the Township website.
