Special Township Committee Meeting Monday

The Township Committee will hold a special meeting early on Monday morning, at 7 a.m., to approve $150,000 more for storm repair projects caused by Hurricane Irene -- specifically at Timberdale Drive -- said Township Engineer Ed Broberg.

The unusual start time was scheduled to accomodate everyone's work schedules, said Deptuty Mayor Serena DiMaso.

At a special meeting on September 1, the Committee voted to spend up to $250,000 for emergency repair work to correct serious problems sites caused by the storm along Heyward Hills Drive, Brentwood Road, Deerfield Road, Chestnut Ridge Road, Catbird Alley, Timberdale Drive and South Beers Street.
