2014 Primary Election Results for Holmdel, Hazlet
In both towns, uncontested races for Township Committee.
In Tuesday's elections, candidates ran unopposed for for their party's nominations to run for Township Committee in Holmdel and Hazlet.
In Holmdel, Incumbent Republicans Patrick Impreveduto and Gregory Buontempo received their party's nominations while Democrats Karen S. Strickland and Janet Berk won their party's nod.
In Hazlet, Republican Susan M. Kiley was unopposed to run for an open seat on the governing body. On the Democratic Party side, Kevin M. Lavan also ran unopposed.
Candidates also ran unopposed in the race for Monmouth County Freeholder. Republican Incumbents Lillian G. Burry and Gary J. Rich won nominations for two, four-year terms. Democrats Joe Grillo and Larry Luttrell won their party's nominations.
