Woman Indicted on Forgery and Theft Charges in Holmdel and Hazlet

Investigators say she took over $1,500 in bank funds

A Monmouth County grand jury voted Tuesday to indict a Matawan woman on forgery and theft charges.

Investigators say that Bianca Dennis, 23, forged bank withdrawal slips and checks under someone else's name, removing a total of $1,615 from the victim's account. The alleged crime took place between Dec. 9, 2011 and Dec. 28, 2011 in Holmdel, Hazlet and Middletown, according to investigators.

She was indicted on charges of third degree forgery, third degree uttering a forged instrument, and third degree theft of movable property.

An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that formal charges may be brought against the individuals named in the charges.
