Woman Allegedly Forged Xanax Prescription at Hazlet Pharmacy

Police say the 21-year-old was also in possession of a small amount of the drug at the time of her arrest.

A Highlands woman is facing several drug-related charges after she failed to pass a forged prescription at the Hazlet Pharmacy on April 25.

Police say Fiona Gallagher, 21, stole blank prescriptions from a medical office and then conspired with another to forge the prescription for the anti-anxiety medication. She was allegedly in possession of (6) one milligram pills of Xanax and one suboxone pill, according to the complaint warrant filed by the arresting officer.

Gallagher was charged with theft, forgery, conspiracy and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, all in the third degree. She is also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a container or prescription, which is a disorderly persons offense.
