Three people are hurt and four vehicles are wrecked in a horrific accident after a 17-year-old girl allegedly ran a red light at Kozloski Road and Center Street in Freehold at 2:44 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Freehold Township Police Department.

The Freehold Township girl, who police did not identify, was driving a 2010 Hummer H3 traveling west on Freneau Boulevard. According to police, the young woman ran a red light as she crossed Kozloski Road. Both cars then struck a 2005 Honda Accord that was stopped at the red light on Center Street facing east.

The driver of the stopped car said he didn't even have time for his life to flash before his eyes. “I saw an orange and black thing coming at me. The path of destruction went right over the top of my car,” said Henry Scharff, 68, of Toms River.
