Two Hazlet Men Charged With Car Burglary in Middletown

Police said the men had GPS units, latex gloves and bandanas between them.

Two Hazlet men have been charged with car burglary in Middletown. 

Christopher J. Copp, 26, of Adam Place and Timothy Domenick, 25, of Ridge Drive were arrested at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 20. 

Their arrests followed an investigation by Middletown Police.

Copp is facing three charges: entering a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox; being in possession of three different kinds of GPS units, as well a a gold necklace; and possession of burglary tools, specifically a knife, two flashlights, a pair of latex gloves and two bandanas.

Domenick is facing three charged of conspiring to help another commit burglary; possession of the GPS units and necklace; and possession of burglary tools, specifically two pairs of black latex gloves.

Both men were sent to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility. Judge Richard Thompson set Copp's bail at $45,000, with no ten percent option. Dominick's bail was set at $30,000, no ten percent option. Both have made bail. 

Their next appearance before a judge will be on November 5.
