DWI Checkpoint Announced For Sunday Night's Concert at the PNC
Country music star Luke Bryan is playing at the venue in Holmdel Township.
On Sunday night, the NJ State Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint of all vehicles leaving the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel that are headed south on the Garden State Parkway.
Beginning at 8 p.m., state troopers will be checking drivers for signs of alcohol or drug use in their goal to reduce the number of crashes due to impaired driving. The June 1 Luke Bryan: That's My Kind of Night Tour 2014 begins at 7 p.m.
State Police remind concert fans that if they plan to throw back a few drinks at Sunday’s country music concert, they must plan ahead to depend on a designated driver.

"Don’t risk getting behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking. It’s not worth getting arrested, hurting yourself, or hurting someone you love," said John J. Hoffman of the Office of the Attorney General, in a statement announcing the DWI checkpoint.
