Sheepshead Baygel Burglarized Again, Suspect Sought

Rolls of quarters and dimes were stolen.

Sheepshead Baygel is dealing with more broken windows, according to Holmdel Police.

Detective Sgt. Louis Torres said between Sunday at 11 p.m. and Monday at 5 a.m., someone smashed the front entrance exterior door and the interior glass doors.

Rolls of quarters and dimes were stolen in an unknown amount. Police are hoping a resident traveling on Route 35 may have seen a suspect walking by, or a vehicle in the parking lot between those hours.

In May, Sheepshead Baygel was burglarized through the front window. Then, $200 was stolen from the register and the window cost $700 to replace.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Holmdel Police Department Detective Bureau at 732-946-4400. There is currently no suspect description.
