Sanitation Worker Hit by Car in Holmdel Tuesday Morning

The accident occurred on Tuesday morning at Chesapeake Drive and Elsworth Drive.

A sanitation worker collecting recycling was hit by a car early Tuesday morning, according to Holmdel Police.

David M. Bremmer, 25 of Jackson was picking up recycling as an employee of Future Sanitation Inc. when he was struck by a car. 

The driver, Susanne G. Prestininzi, 42 of Bayonne, was not issued a summons on the scene according to police. The incident is still under investigation by the Traffic Safety Bureau.

Police reported Bremmer was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center with head, neck and possibly internal injuries. Holmdel First Aid Squad and the MONOC Paramedics were on the scene. 

Ptl. Archinaco of the Holmdel Twp. Police Dept. Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the accident. He was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Torres, Sgt. Philhower, and Ptl. Groder.
