Report: Man Injured by Snowplow at Home

A Holmdel Township man was taken to the hospital Sunday after police freed his hand from a snowplow in the driveway of his Highpoint Road home, according to a report from the Asbury Park Press.

According to the report, the man was repairing the snowplow at about 8:30 a.m. when his hand became stuck between the snowplow’s frame and blade, Police Sgt. Vincent Imperato said. Police used tools to cut through a chain on the snowplow and were then able to free the man’s hand, Imperato said.

The victim was taken by the to Bayshore Community Hospital for treatment, the report said.
