Rahway Man Indicted in Armed Robbery of Patsy's Cab Service

James J. Bixler, 34 allegedly robbed a Patsy's Cab Service driver on May 21, 2012 in Holmdel.

James J. Bixler, 34 of Rahway was indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury this week after allegedly robbing a Patsy's Cab Service driver in May of last year.

In July, Bixler was arrested by the Rahway Police Department on the outstanding warrant from Holmdel. At that time, Bixler was also charged with the armed robbery of a cab driver in Edison, NJ.

According to county indictment records, Bixler allegedly used a knife to threaten the driver. Bixler is charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful weapon possession and armed robbery.
