Middle Road Village Burglars Arrested in Hazlet, Police Say

A 19-year-old from Hazlet was arrested in connection with the burglaries.

Hazlet Police arrested two people on Friday for the alleged burglary of cars and housing development buildings in Middle Road Village.

According to police, during the weekend of June 20, vehicles on Mason Drive were broken into along with office and maintenance buildings on the property.

John Craparo, 32, of Eatontown was charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of theft and one count of criminal mischief. He is being held on $35,000 bail according to police.

Nicholas Lylo, 19, of Hazlet was charged with one count of receiving stolen property. He was released pending a court date. 

Arrests were made by Officers William Agar, Vincent Quinn, and Chris Acevedo. They were assisted in the investigation by Officers Jerry Burgos and Maryann Smith.
