Police: Holmdel Homeowner Scares Off Two Men During Break-In

Holmdel Police are investigating a report of a break-in at a house on White Rock Terrace Thursday morning. White Rock Terrace is off Line Road.

The homeowner told police that he discovered two men in the house. When they realized they were detected, they fled the house on foot towards the woods. Police arrived on the scene at 11 a.m. upon getting notified of a burglary in progress, but were unable to find the men. 
No items were reported taken from the house. 

The homeowner described one man as a black male wearing a Yankees baseball cap with a grey sweatshirt turned inside-out. The other was described as a white or Hispanic male. Police say there is no further description of either subject.
