Police: Contractor Admits to Stealing $6k Worth of Jewelry from Holmdel Home

Patrick Gere, 29, of Lakehurst was questioned by police on Sept. 17 when police say he admitted to stealing the jewelry.

Holmdel Police arrested an electrical contractor last week after he admitted to stealing $6,000 worth of jewelry from a Holmdel home he was working in.

Police were called to a Sherwood Court residence on Sept. 12 after homeowners noticed the jewelry was missing from the master bedroom.

Patrick Gere, 29, of Lakehurst was questioned by police on Sept. 17 when police say he admitted to stealing the jewelry. Gere is an employee of Wave Electric. 

Police discovered Gere was also wanted on theft charges stemming from Howell Township. Gere was charged with theft in Holmdel.
