Middletown Man Charged with Heroin, Cocaine Possession in Holmdel

The arrest of the 40-year old man came the same week he was indicted for drug possesion in Neptune in July.

Sean Dickey, 40, of Daniel Drive in Middletown was arrested by Holmdel Police for alleged possession of heroin, cocaine and Alprazolam on Jan. 20. 

Possession of these drugs is considered a third degree crimes. If convicted of a third degree crime, a defendant may face a three to five year prison sentence. 

Police say Dickey was also allegedly carrying drug paraphernalia, specifically a clear glass pipe with cocaine residue and glassine packets containing heroin, a disorderly persons offense.

Dickey is being held at the county jail on $15,000 bail.

Dickey was indicted on Jan. 16 by a grand jury in Freehold on charges of heroin possession on July 22 in Neptune, and will stand trial to face the formal charges.
