Matawan Man Charged with Burglary of Two Hazlet Businesses
Mario Castellano, 48, of Matawan allegedly broke into the two Bethany Road businesses, stealing money and causing damage to the stores.
A Matawan man was charged with the burglary of Carousel Bakery and Lukoil in Hazlet, according to police.
Mario Castellano, 48, of Main Street in Matawan allegedly broke into the two Bethany Road businesses, stealing money and causing damage to the stores.
Castellano allegedly stole $800 from Carousel Bakery and caused $1,300 worth of damage. The Matawan man also allegedly stole $1,000 from Lukoil and caused $500 worth of damage.
In August, Castellano was charged in Middletown for burglary, theft and criminal mischief. In March, Castellano was indicted on charges of receiving stolen property and allegedly selling it in Hazlet.
