Man Indicted on Charges He Used Stolen Credit Cards in Holmdel Stores

Eric M. Aul of Old Bridge is alleged to have purchased gift cards for himself with credit cards stolen from a Best Buy employee.

Eric M. Aul, the Laurence Harbor man Holmdel Police arrested and charged with stealing credit cards from a Holmdel Best Buy employee and purchasing $335 worth of gift cards for himself in other Holmdel stores, was indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury on Wednesday.

Aul, 26, of 17A Matawan Road in Old Bridge, faces one charge of credit card theft, two charges of fraudulent use of a credit card, and one charge of theft by deception.

The grand jury's formal charge is not a determination of guilt or innocence.
