Keansburg Man Charged Again in Hazlet Car Burglaries

Hoff is currently being held in the Monmouth County Jail on contempt of court charges filed by the county Superior Court, according to county inmate records.

Anthony Hoff, 20, of Keansburg was indicted last week on a burglary charge in Hazlet, a charge records indicate Hoff isn't unfamiliar with.

Hoff was arrested and indicted in 2011 by Holmdel Police in connection with the burglary of three cars in the Bayshore area after allegedly attempting to burglarize almost 15, according to the statements of Hoff and two accomplices at the time.

The most recent indictment indicates an April 13 incident in Hazlet, and does not indicate whether anything was stolen.

Hoff is currently being held in the Monmouth County Jail on contempt of court charges filed by the county Superior Court, according to county inmate records.

In 2011, Holmdel Police Detective Louis Torres indicated Hoff had already been arrested before "for the same activity."
