Holmdel Resident Indicted on Sexual Assault Charges

Abraham is charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and criminal coercion.

A Holmdel man was indicted this week on charges of sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, according to county records.

Thomas Abraham, 47, of Borden Brook Way is accused of forcing sexual activity on a victim in Holmdel on March 29 by forcing sexual activity and threatening bodily harm, according to prosecutors.

Abraham is charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and criminal coercion. According to county inmate records, Abraham is not currently in jail.

An indictment does not indicate absolute guilt or a conviction. It only means that a county grand jury found there was enough evidence to proceed with a prosecution. Guilt or innocence will be tried and determined in a court of law.
