Police: Fugitive Arrested After Routine Stop in Holmdel

Jason Mitchell, 28 of Pennsylvania was arrested by Holmdel Police as fugitive from Pennsylvania.

A routine motor vehicle stop in Holmdel led to the arrest of an alleged fugitive out of Pennsylvania, according to Holmdel Police.

Ptl. Charles Groder pulled over Pennsylvania resident Jason F. Mitchell, 28 on March 21. After running Mitchell's registration, a hit came back on a warrant for allegedly violating probation and failing to appear in court in Pennsylvania.

Mitchell was held in Monmouth County on $100,000 bail and no ten percent option while he awaited extradition to Pennsylvania.
